What You’ll Learn
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to:
- Explain the concept of origin and why it matters
- Apply the rules for non-preferential origin
- Understand and prepare Certificates of Origin (UK and Arab)
- Understand the purpose and benefits of trade agreements
- Apply the rules for preferential origin
- Complete and use movement certificates (EUR1)
- Apply cumulation methods where relevant
- Claim preference on imports to reduce duty costs
You’ll leave with the knowledge and tools to determine origin accurately, complete the right documentation, and take full advantage of trade agreements.
