What was the reason for using Exporter Services Helpdesk service, what problem was it looking to solve?
Despite our corporate heritage we are now a standalone entity & as such have limited resource & knowledge to ensure we are compliant with both our import & export activity. Our initial requirement has been to register for Inward Processing Relief (IPR) followed by a need to verify all standing data & processes.

Our first port of call for advice has always been our bankers, Barclays plc. In acknowledging their own limitations an introduction was made to Exporter Services. After an impressive on-site discussion we were very happy to engage with Exporter Services.

Exporter Services provide a range of services from the project orientated IPR implementation through to ad-hoc responses to immediate questions.

Exporter Services offer a broad range of experience at a reasonable price. Charging is based on time used with a ‘top-up’ facility when required. The services is available to all in the organisation through a simple helpdesk e-mail facility. Responses are prompt & appropriate.
How do they go the ‘extra mile’ – give an example?
Exporter Services provided significant help with getting our IPR application across the line. Not only providing assistance with information around the process but also in completing application forms & where possible chasing through the HMRC system.
